Inspectors spot things outside what the scan was pointed at. They make calls in places most people wouldn't enter, on findings that can shut down a highway or keep it running. We're building tools for the people making those calls.
A scan complements an inspection. It doesn't do it. The person reading the data has to know which returns matter, what the conditions are doing to the results, and whether what they're seeing is real or something the equipment introduced. We're working on making that data clearer and easier to act on, so you have more to work with when it counts.
